Hijinx Sunglasses

The Oakley Hijinx sunglasses are a design for men that are created using the themes of music, art and life that inspires athletes to give their best performance possible. The aesthetic and shape is simple with clean and streamlined lines but the Hijinx sunglasses definitely posses the fierce and strong Oakley attitude! The sunglasses are made using the O Matter frame material and accentuated with dual cam hinges and the iconic Oakley logo upon the temple. What is particularly striking about the Hijinx sunglasses is the use of tone and colour with versions in colours such as shadow camo, brown smoke and polished black for a neutral and classic option. Within the Hijinx collection, there are also two exclusive styles; the Stephen Murray Hijinx which are designed in honour of BMX rider Stephen Murray and the Who is This Kid Hijinx sunglasses. In 2008 Oakley UK launched the first annual Oakley Design Brief, presented by Daydream Network and created an opportunity for the UK’s top young designers and artists to customise an exclusive limited edition pair of Oakley Hijinx sunglasses. The winner’s entry would be created as part of the Hijinx collection and this pair is extremely limited edition with only 300 pairs made. The Hijinx lenses incorporate Oakley’s High Definition Optics and are made of pure Plutonite which effectively filters out 100 percent of all UVA, UVB and UVC rays. Some lenses are also available with an iridium coating to reduce glare and balance light transmission, and some styles feature Polarised lenses for the ultimate in visual quality.
